Good Shepherd at Holden Village

A small group of Good Shepherds went to Holden Village this past July.  We spent a week learning during classes, hiking, eating (their homemade bread is delicious), worshipping every evening, dancing to Pastor Bergen & Clara's rock n roll, gathering each evening on a porch to drink wine and chat, meeting people from all over the U.S., dipping our feet into Railroad Creek, shopping at the Holden store, riding the school bus up & down 12 miles of windy roads, enjoying the beautiful gardens & wildlife, fighting off those chipmunks, watching the Holden 4th of July parade & fireworks, bowling, playing pool, and just being in an absolute beautiful setting feeling very close to God.
