Confirmation Program
(2025-26 Class Schedule TBD)
At Good Shepherd, Confirmation is the practice of deliberately studying and deepening one’s faith. We learn about the history of the church, the stories and ways of reading The Bible, and the practices of the Lutheran expression of Christianity. In addition to learning, Confirmation is focused on building relationships and community that cultivate a life of service. It is open to all youth entering 6th grade and above, and is also open to any adults who wish to explore and expand their understanding of faith!
Confirmation usually meets on the 1st Sunday evening of every month, from 4 - 7 pm (2025-26 class schedule is TBD). During each session there will be time for lessons and discussions, conversation and reflection, creative expressions of faith, and (of course) dinner! Dinner will take place at 5:30 pm in Crary Hall on each Confirmation night, and all are welcome to enjoy the Community Meal!
