South Sound Lutheran Youth Group

Dinner, Fun, Games, Vampire Tag

The South Sound Lutheran Youth Group is a joint activity night gathering of the Good Shepherd Lutheran and Gloria Dei Lutheran youth groups (6th grade and above) where youth experience an awesome night of food, vampire tag, games, worship, fellowship, and fun at this joint monthly event which will alternate locations between Good Shepherd Lutheran and Gloria Dei Lutheran in west Olympia! (see schedule below)

What is Vampire, you ask? It's a hybrid of tag/hide-and-seek/scavenger hunt played through the entire church in the dark! The vampire tags the humans before they can find the hidden garlic that can tag the vampire. We learned this game back in November at the inter-church youth night at Gloria Dei, and it has rapidly become a favorite among the youth at Good Shepherd! Some games have been known to last for an hour!

We'll gather from 5-8 pm to eat together, play games, worship, and play Vampire tag in the church (in the dark). All friends are invited to join in the fun! And if you know that your child will be coming, please send a message to Pastor Bergen at bergen@gsolympia.org. Hope to see you there!

The next SSLYG Activity Night will be Sunday, November 17
