Quilts, Quilts, Quilts! Quilt Sunday

On Quilt Sunday, April 27, the Good Shepherd sanctuary will be resplendent with beautiful quilts made by Good Shepherd’s Piece Corp Ministry. The quilts are lovingly made using donated materials. Thank You to all who have donated to this work.

These quilts are made for Lutheran World Relief and are shipped all over the world. The sale of some of these quilts helps to cover shipping costs for mailing.

If you see a quilt either on the pews, or displayed over the railing in the entry area, please fill free to purchase. Most quilts are $40.00, with more intricate ones costing slightly more.

It has been heart-warming to hear the stories of how these quilts are used, by those in need. They have been used as bed covers, floor cloths, room dividers, and of course, keeping young and old warm or protected.
