Join the Team of Funeral Coordinators

Here’s an opportunity to serve and express your care and love for people at a vulnerable, difficult time of their lives. Funeral coordinators work as a team (of 4 or 5) to assist with the logistics of the congregation’s ministry of hosting funerals and memorial services. They meet with loved ones to help plan the details of the services; they coordinate any needed helpers. It might be expected that an individual coordinator is responsible to assist with 1/3 or 1/4 of the funerals per year. Want to join this time-limited but essential and valuable ministry?
