VBS Planning Begins!!

We’re excited to announce that we’ll be blasting off to Mars and Beyond August 5-9. However, before we can make VBS happen we need to have enough volunteers to make it a faith-filled and rewarding week for everyone.

How Many VBS Volunteers Do We Need?

We need about 35-40 daily volunteers to make VBS happen. This includes site leaders and helpers (crafts, games, Bible, science, and music), a great kitchen crew for snacks, and group leaders that help get the kids from point A to point B.

In addition to daily volunteers we need people to help with registration, decorations, setup and teardown, publicity, and audiovisual.

Would You Be a Good Volunteer?

Short Answer: Yes.

Slightly Longer Answer: We’re seeking active, committed Christians from all stages of life who enjoy working with children. People with flexible work schedules or those who get time off for service projects are a bonus. Volunteers can also help with planning, prepping snack or craft resources, decorating, or other administrative tasks.

Why Should You Volunteer?

It is our hope that children in our community and congregation will encounter God’s awesomeness through our VBS program. We know Jesus will work through YOU at VBS. You are a person who has the love, creativity, and passion to share God’s love. Plus it’s very rewarding and a whole lot of fun.

Alright, I Want to Volunteer

Woohoo! Let Allison know. We’re having our first VBS Staff Meeting on Saturday, May 11 beginning at 9:30.
