Our After School Tutoring Program is about to begin. It’s not too late to volunteer or to sign-up for tutoring. Want to learn more about the program? Watch this short video to learn more.

Are you looking for an opportunity to serve in a church ministry that helps kids and families in our local community?  Volunteer with ASTP!

A.S.T.P. Tutor:  Volunteer your time to help a middle school student complete homework, study for tests, and improve skills.  One to four days a week – 4:15  to 5:30 p.m.  Please make a minimum commitment of nine weeks to help provide stability. (vacation time is allowed – so don’t let your plans discourage you from volunteering☺) *Adults and high school students (sophomore and older) are encouraged to apply.

A.S.T.P. Activity Time Helper:  Volunteer to spend time with students when they arrive from school until tutoring begins.  Enjoy a snack with the students and then take part in and help supervise their activities, which may take place outdoors, in the Gathering Place, or in one of our activity rooms.  One to four days a week – 2:45 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. *Adults and high school students (freshman and older) are encouraged to apply.

A.S.T.P. Van Driver:  Volunteer to drive the church van to pick up students from Reeves Middle School and bring them to Good Shepherd for A.S.T.P.  One to four days a week – 2:00  to 3:15 p.m.. *Must be 25 yrs. or older to volunteer for this position.
