Do you have time to share your heart?
Do you (or your family) feel called to assist fellow parishioners as a “Helping Hands” volunteer? The Care Team wants to hear from people willing to show care and love to parishioners through small one-time acts of service such as providing a meal, writing letters/cards, ride sharing, home visits, assisting with Chapel Services at Woodland Retirement Center, providing an hour or two of respite for a caregiver or running errands for someone who is homebound. Hearing from you will help us determine if there is sufficient interest to coordinate this because the Care Team is currently not equipped to offer this assistance alone. A dedicated group of committed volunteers would be essential! If you’re interested in serving as a Care Team “Helping Hands” volunteer, please contact Beth Holmes, firstname.lastname@example.org.
